After so much back and forth debating with myself, and almost a year’s worth of planning, I finally took the courageous step of starting a Kickstarter campaign for one of my books. This is my second Kickstarter campaign I’ve done, the first was for one of my PC games I published. But this particular campaign is the first I’m doing for one of my books.
The Pyromancer Trilogy is an epic fantasy series published under my award-winning R.M. Prioleau pen name. The books were released in 2012/2013 — over a decade — and have been enjoyed globally by readers of all ages. This particular series was one of my absolute favorite books to write, and I wanted to try and do something special to commemorate its 10-year anniversary. Kickstarter seemed like the viable choice for being able to raise the funds needed to do this, as well as share it with more readers.
This campaign is a PRINT-ONLY campaign, meaning, there are no ebooks being offered for this trilogy. The things I have in store for these books (ie: gold foiling, sprayed edges, etc.) can only be achieved with print versions. I will have digital audiobook versions of the book available as tier rewards, but those will be the only digital items I will be offering at this time.
The Pyromancer Trilogy special collector’s edition Kickstarter project will be launched in July. All Literary Love Savannah 2024 Attendees who back this project will receive some special thank-you goodies during the convention.

This 768-PAGE edition will be available in paperback and hardback.
If certain stretch goals are met, there is an opportunity for this edition to be upgraded to have GOLD FOIL and SPRAYED EDGES, which would be a KICKSTARTER EXCLUSIVE (meaning, you can ONLY get it via Kickstarter) .
Or, how about a CLOTH WALLSCROLL with custom artwork of the characters from the book?

- Epic fantasy readers who enjoyed similar series like the old school Weis/Hickman Dragonlance books, and R.A. Salvatore books. Basically any of the TSR novels from the 80s/90s.
